I applied for this job via LinkedIn or indeed. It seemed suspicious so I waited a few days to see how it progressed. After I filled out paper work such as a W4, the fraud recruiter said they would send me a check via mail. I told him I never received the check, and he began to get irate with me and insinuate I’m trying to scam him. After this, conversation via telegram, I reported him to the CA labor department.
