Type of a scam Online Purchase
I got excited about purchasing a puppy. I am usually very vigilant about fraud scares, and I had an intuitive thought that maybe this process was a scam, but I continued after I spoke with the husband, named "Raymond." His wife's name is "Regina." Their website looks very professional and I was so excited by the idea of getting a puppy that after I spoke with "Raymond" over the phone, I felt more comfortable sending money over Apple Cash (another option they offered was Zella), to his "daughter's" apple pay email account. Luckily, Apple Pay suspended the transaction, or my bank did, and that's when I began to feel weary. He replied and told me that there was a problem because his daughter's account had received too much money and that is why they suspended the account, which kind of made sense to me because a litter of puppies would be purchased in one chunk of time. They asked for my name, home address, contact phone number and contact email address, and then to submit money to their daughter's apple pay account: "[email protected]."
I found it a little sketchy, but I asked to speak to them over the phone because their website does not have a phone number; he gave me a phone number. I called, he answered and he elaborated why they are sending the money to his daughter's account. Here is where I should have stopped...and I do not know why I didn't. I think it was because i was excited. When the money was suspended, he said to send it to HIS apply pay account because there wouldn't be a problem. That's when I started looking into it more. After a long time of being on the phone with my bank and Apple Pay, I emailed "Raymond" and asked for the transaction to be cancelled and they complied. They emailed me back that they had cancelled it on their end and the transaction should not go through. I am still waiting to see if my transaction will taper off, which I will know within the next 3 days, but I wanted to go ahead and make people aware of this Ad and website because I do not find it to be a legitimate business. It may be, but I would like for the ScamPulse.com to look into...Also, the pictures they were using for their dogs, we did a reverse image of the puppies they were advertising and they were found on the internet in many locations, like Pinterest, etc. I hope that this domain, "https://reginabeaglepuppies.com/" is reported and shut down, because that was one of the worst feelings I've ever had. I cannot believe how cruel some people can be. There is a possibility that I did not lose money, but that has yet to be fully determined. Nonetheless, something is very strange about this website and I am confident it is a scam.
