I attempted to log in to my bank account to update my phone number. While doing so, I noticed an offer for a $100 bonus if I opened a special savings account. Unfortunately, I mistakenly dialed the bank's customer care number with one incorrect digit. The person who answered claimed I would receive the $100 bonus and pretended to be a bank representative, asking for my account number. I refused to provide it and declined the bonus offer. They then instructed me to call another number, 18003733411, to update my contact number. After a quick Google search, I discovered that this number is associated with a scam. It was then that I realized I had dialed the incorrect customer care number.
