Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

This company calls using what I can only assume is a robo-dial system, and leaves messages and calls about past-due accounts that need to be paid or service will be terminated. When I called the number back, I reached an automated system that directed me to a representative. When I advised the rep that we do not do business with this company, or it's affiliates, the rep began asking me for personal information like my first and last name, which I refused to provide. I advised the rep that I am aware of ALL contracts involved with my office, and that I would simply like them to please remove our phone number from their call list. When the phone number was provided, the rep states he cannot locate an account with that phone number, to which I replied that of course he can't, because we do not have business with them. Rep states that he cannot remove the number from their system, and began asking me more personal questions about myself and the business. Again, I advised I will not be supplying any information to a stranger, and that we have no business with them, BUT they are calling a phone line that is for doctor/patients only, and NO SALES CALLS. Then he begins to ask me if I will give him my patient's information. Clearly he did not understand what I was talking about. I advised him that if he refused to remove the number from their call list I would contact BBB, and he just continued to talk in circles, so I hung up and here I am.
