Type of a scam Online Purchase
I’m a little skeptical about a website I saw on google when I was looking for a Labrador Retriever puppy. The website is http://www.rehomepet.com. They were the first one on the list and was a google ad and supposedly they are a Labrador retriever breeders from Texas. Have you guys knows about them? The website looks very slick but I started to worried when I click on their Facebook and Instagram buttons on their website and bounce. Also, my wife had contact with them via email and they never sign off with a name, just with their “company name”. Another Red Flag was that they didn’t ask to many questions. They just said “Yes, the puppy is yours. Just send the 60% of the payment to reserve the puppy”. They said that the payment should on Zelle and the name and email they give us for the contact on Zelle was kind of weird. The contact name was Steve Blaze (a name that sounds made off) and the email was kind of wierd and Scammicky ([email protected]). This is my first time looking to by a dog online so I wasn’t aware of this type of scams. I haven’t send them money or anything yet, but my gut feeling is that they are a scam website.
