I have a service contract with Reimer. As part of the contract, a young technician came to the house to flush the hot water tank. At the end of the procedure, he said he had done a safety inspection, coming up with three gas leaks, and other problems or upgrades, totaling 8 items with a total of $3000. Very suspicious were the gas leaks and the torn toilet flapper, cost repair for $300. Toilet had NO problem before his visit. As I am an old woman, I felt I was being targeted, with the service contract, perhaps, giving the company opportunity for fraud.
