My daughter was interested in a Dachshund puppy she seen on website (Relish Dachshunds), base out of Dallas, TX. She inquired on it via email, she was told the puppy was available at $598.00 and that was the 50% discount rate. They ship will ship the puppy via Airplane. They asked her questions about the home to make sure that the environment was suitable for the puppy. When my daughter told them she was interested in purchasing the puppy she was given the instructions to purchase a Walmart Gift Card for the amount $598.00 in two separate cards because they (Walmart) will issue gift cards up to $500.00 only, the second gift card for $98.00. She was then told to scratch the back of the card and to take a picture and send it to them. After she did this, she was then sent an Invoice/Tracking information from Multipet Logistics LTD and also was told that she would have to purchase an Insurance policy for $800.00 and this is a refundable amount at the time of the delivery of the puppy. We emailed them back and told them that we wanted to cancel the purchase because this was to much money and they emailed back that they would pay $500.00 and we pay $300.00. We told them no, we just want a refund. They never replied back to us. We emailed them that we just want our money back, if they did not reply I was going to report them for fraud. No response.
