Called because I went to the University of Phoenix and apparently they are being investigated for fraud. He sent me an email to get into my account and I stupidly let him! He also sent a number of texts to my phone.

Young man offered to help me file a BDAR Discharge Application(borrowers defense against repayment) for the university of phoenix fraud case, which is a real case. I was suspicious when he asked for my social security number and asked for money payment plan, without offering to send me any information until after I agreed to send him money $1,200. I told him I call for some information so I could make up my mind later as to whether I would go through with their company helping me, but he kept pushing for a NOW answer and finally gave me a name(which he said was Tim) and a direct number to him(1-855-285-1067).

So what made me put it all on hold was that he was nervous the whole time he talked to me, and usually a government sponsored agency is very direct and non pushy with their information. So I told him no for now and that he could call me the next day when my husband was home, and I went and checked the Department of Education website to see if his information was true, and everything he said is true except the fact that his business is not associated with the department of Education, and the department of education has the application on its site that you can either do online or download and print out, AND it is free to do the process and tells you not to pay anyone to do it for you and if anyone ask you for money they are scammers. so I am letting everyone know that the webpage www.aaaclaimfiling.com is a scam and so is www.relyonlighthouse.com
