Remote Work scam Reports & Reviews (2)

Unemployed looking for remote position. I was contacted via text from Jessica Castillo. My Resume was seen by employee on Indeed. Asked if I’d join a Zoom Interview with a Mr Hill (Hilo, HA). I agreed and thought the interview was thorough and legit. An email was sent to me with the Company info and what was being offered with the Company’s Recognition. Sounded great. I was told more offer details would come via email and to report back today on Zoom at 8am for training. The Company offers to provide all equipment needed and would send me money via check or direct deposit to get started.

I have done my research on the Company website and contacted locations in US and Canada and yet to reach a single office. During the zoom text I asked for the US HR department contact and phone information and no reply have been provided.

All the correspondence is document on my text and Zoom.

- Cave City, KY, USA

They came to me through text with a job offer for 35$ an hour for remote work, then redirected me to Microsoft Teams for a two day interview process, after which they said they'd send me a check to "buy work equipment" with, which bounced.
