The scammer falsely claims that they have recorded me in compromised actions while using my device (does not specify which device; computer or cell). The email is riddled full of grammatical and spelling errors. They threaten that if I do not pay them (no specified amount) within 96 hours then they will share this embarrassing video to all my family and friends which they claim that they have downloaded my email and social media contacts. The message later states that I will have 48 hours to respond, which contradicts the previous 96 hours, from the time I open the email (they state they will get a report when I open it) and the time countdown starts then. Then there is an attachment (of which I did not open but it is a .txt document) at the bottom of the email.
