I was interested in renting, or paying to own, a 1 bedroom house in upstate New York, listed on this site. "Allison" (Allison ) could not locate my listing (mysterious), but kept insisting I pay for a credit check and application. I wanted to see the unit first. No one could show me the unit, or respond to my more specific questions about utilities, taxes, etc.

Rent to Own Listingz is a fraudulent renters site. They will just push you to give your credit card information and SSN. There are no units or rentals.

This business is using very inviting craigslist ads to channel people into a credit repair scheme. When I responded to the ad on craigslist I was given a link to their website, which asked for all kinds of personal details and then offered to help me improve my credit score. I told the guy who emailed me that I didn't need help with my credit and just wanted to look at the apartment, but he never responded after that.
