Priceless listed their rentals online at AutoRentals.com. at a low daily rate which then linked me to Expedia.com for the actual booking. Priceless claimed to be a mile from the airport with a shuttle available every 20 minutes. I paid the rental fee and added the additional recommended insurance through Expedia. When I arrived at the airport, I waited and waited and tried to call the company. One of the numbers given on the confirmation would just ring and hang up. The other went through a phone tree to the Tampa location. I was told on three calls that the shuttle was almost there. I waited almost an hour. The distance from the airport was actually closer to 7 miles and was located in a sketchy industrial area with questionable businesses nearby -- a strip club, and Rent-A-Wreck. The situation only got worse when I presented my confirmation at the desk.

They stated that the additional insurance I had purchased at the time of booking with Expedia was not sufficient, and they refused to allow me to use my Allstate insurance even though I had my card. They coerced me into paying for their insurance at $30/day. I was tired after my long flight and long wait, I reluctantly agreed. I was directed to go outside to a lot across the street where they proceeded to spend a long time checking out a car to another party. After another long wait, they brought out a beat up Toyota Corolla with many dings and rust spots. The tires looked worn, and the seats were stained. I was anxious to get my hotel, and I drove off. Soon after, a warning light came on, but the car seemed to drive ok. A couple of days later, the left rear tire blew out when I was driving on a smooth highway. I pulled into a parking lot and called Priceless. They said none of the insurances covered tire blow -outs and told me to call Triple A to have the spare tire put on. I drove slowly -- under 55mph back to Tampa a distance of 60 miles after Triple A changed to the spare. When I returned the car, again, the shuttle was nowhere to be seen, and the office did not know how long it would be. At this time, a woman who had waited a long time for the shuttle from the airport decided not to rent from them. They did not want to give her a ride back to the airport. She called an Uber, and was kind enough to offer me a ride to the airport. The next day, they emailed me their "receipt" and I saw multiple fees as well as $350 for "tire damage". In total, the 5 day rental cost over $500.

I wish I had checked for reviews prior to booking. I saw numerous reviews that reported similar experiences -- poorly maintained cars, tire blow outs, engine failures, exorbitant fees and demands to pay for their insurance. They fraudulently misrepresent their proximity to the airport, and fraudulently list low rental rates, knowing that they will be able to add on huge fees and worst of all, the cars are unreliable and unsafe.

We called to rent a vehicle they gave us the information then gave us a personal number to call them back on once we purchased a Green Dot go to bank card in the amount of the deposit of $356.00 and then the amount of the rental of the vehicle total amount put on a card with 356 when we went to pick up the car there was no money on my card and there was no car reserved. I have been dealing with the bank of Green Dot go to bank and have been giving nothing but the runaround it is been since the 28th of April and I have not seen any movement or money put on my card I believe this whole thing is a hustle or scam I'd like you to look into it

I made a reservation to rent a car, and I was to pick up the car at the airport when I arrive in new Orleans. This person name Jasmine told me get an American Express card put 500.00 dollars on it and I would get a good deal on this car so I did.  I called her at 877-641-1363 and gave her the info on the card.  She call me back and told me the card was a American express gift card and that she needed a AMERICAN EXPRESS PREPAID CARD EITHER BLUE OR SERVE.  So I went to Walmart to buy another card because the deal sounded sooo good, and the lady at Walmart told me it was a SCAM
