I paid this person for a rental property in the amount of $1025.00 and paid for a locksmith.  when the locksmith came out they ran into a bigger problem.  The property manager came out and stated that we have been scammed.

Saw property on Zillow clicked option to view property. Time later I was sent a message and I spoke with Carson Byles; we started talking on the phone. 832-409-3097. He told me about his background and this was my first time renting. I didnt see any red flags. Claimed the house was his grandparents and he wanted to rent it out. I ended up signing a lease and got keys to the home for move in May 1st. Last week Carson called and was I going to send $200 for washer and dryer. Until I paid I wasnt going to get it installed I told him I had the money and he wanted to meet up at property to put in washer and dryer. I sent the money and I screenshotted for proof and the next day to meet at 2pm and nobody shown he stopped responding and I havent heard from him since. I sent him overall $950 through Cash App. Morgan Financial claimed they wanted

******* **** contacted me about a 2 br apartment, near Sarasota, FL, he had for rent for 1000/mo. $500 deposit, $85 application fee both fully refundable if I don't like the place or area after I pay. The apartment was actually a house. First, one of my Cash app payments for $85 didn't go through so I paid a second time. All of a sudden there are about 3 or 4 more people involved, plus his brother is the landlord. Then he said he had someone who wants to rent it and can pay 2 months rent up front. I tell ******* to rent it, I'm not giving him any more money without walking through the house. I demanded a full refund since I never signed a lease or seen the inside of the house. So now I have to pay $ 200 for termination of a lease agreement I never signed!!! It doesn't pay to be desperate. Now I'm close to homeless for the first time in all my years. BEWARE of good deals.

I ordered some clothing from an online store, was promised 20 day free shipping, first the original tracking website had an update that my order was being processed, then suddenly it had no record of the tracking number, I emailed the support address and was given the same tracking number on a different website, emaild them again, 10 days later, and was sent the same email in return with a different contact name, the tracking number and website says my package arrived in Sacramento 2 days ago, today I received this ring with zero clue where it came from, but the tracking number on the package is the same as the clothing order, there was no indication that usps was bringing it in my informed delivery email it was just stuffed in my box, I am so confused, no other money has been removed from my account except for my original purchase,

Ordered clothes and never get them. As others have stated, I got a fake ring. I don't remember the name of the company I ordered from. It was around 2/5/23 and got ring today. Lots of people reporting this one on different sites. Main company is in China.

Individual used aliases Alex for rental property. Requested rental application and personal documents. Rental landlord indicated “Yu Chen Yeh” Individual said he would bypass back ground check. Individual claim he would send rental agreement, however didn’t send any documents. Requested $7100 for rental deposit and rent. He wasn’t specific with rental deposit and first month’s rent. When asked if first month rent can be paid after securing deposit. Individual then turned down rental agreement and claimed it was only partial payment. I clarified it wasn’t a partial payment and I was in agreement with our initial rental agreement.

I believe this might be a rental scam and my personal information was or potentially compromised.

My family and I are currently looking for a home. I applied through turbo tenant I saw & Rebel street and message them inquiring about the vacate unit. I want to say the 2nd of February, by the 6th they replied with a email explain in detail what they wanted for the tenants. How they didn't want a Relator to help them because they was greedy in regards too fees. They sent My partner and I a tenant Questioner to complete and email back to them. Upon completing the forms they would get back with us and let us know their final decision. They called our references Benjamin & Jessica Adair is the name the people was using at the time. How about how we are as tenants, they were so believable our references could not tell it was a scam. A day later we received a email saying we was approved and they would take the house off the market through trulia. they typed up a lease for us to sign with the expected move in date for 03/15/2023 $1000 security deposit, first month rent $1000 and one time deposit for animal $200. The unit was going to be vacate 2/12/2023 they was going to be there all morning cleaning and making the house ready for us to move in. We would send the security deposit through Zelle and that would hold the property for us. When we started the process of sending the money they changed the email to a completed different email Antoniosanjurjo443.com. That concerned us and we did not follow through with it. My partner went to the property as we stay maybe 15 to 20 minutes away. The current owner spoke to him with hesitation of course he moved into 7 Rebel Street January 27, 2023 he is paying 1800 a month for this unit. He was painting and making the property his home. He stated that more than 5 to 7 people have came asking if he was leasing his unit. Some have paid application fees. I thank God we was very fortunate to not have lose any money some can not say the same.

Just wanted to share my bad experience with Platte Rental & Supply. We’ve used them a few times now to rent a trailer the one in parkville when we go riding, the first time no issue. The second time my boyfriend brought my jeep to pick it up not realizing it didn’t have the plug to connect the lights before hand, so they wouldn’t let us leave with it. We didn’t get it. Understandable whatever, but they still charged my card for that day. The kid said he messed up and charged it by accident, said that we would have a credit and not have to pay the next time. Well this past weekend we went back got the trailer, except this time when we returned it… It was the said OWNER who said we didn’t pay last time. We did. It came out of my account. Told him what happened explained the situation, didn’t pay because we already had and we’re told we had a credit. My boyfriend didn’t even bring anything with him to pay because it was suppose to be a credit. This morning I woke up to find that the said OWNER charged my card AGAIN anyways. My boyfriend called and the owner said “the kid didn’t know what he was talking about, It’s our word aginst his, the card was on file so he charged it” with out my permission.????? He started getting loud and arguing. What kind of company does that. We’re honest people and i’m all about the good karma and doing the right thing. Cant dispute the charge yet because it’s still processing. Guy said something about it doesn’t matter not like we’re going to get a lawyer over 60 bucks? After it was brought up it was illegal to run my card with out my permission. Also in a round about way said if we don’t wanna pay the 60 for the trailer (which we already paid) we can’t afford a lawyer? That’s how I perceived it, he followed that comment with a chuckle. We did pay but it’s whatever. Sure it’s just 60 bucks but it’s the principle of how the entire situation was handled. How unprofessional seriously. Just my personal experience.

I saw a property on Zillow. 105 Lawre Circle #3 in Bellevue, NE. I reached out and inquired about it. He said the tenant was moving out the 31st of January of 2023. And then needed contractors in there to paint and would have it ready mid-February of 2023. I was okay with that as i did not have the money to rent right away anyways until mid-month. Then he starts sending me contracts - lease agreements and the first one had many flaws in it so i had him correct it. Then a second one had him adding pet fees which i did not have so had him take that one out. Then the third one, I just did not feel right about signing an agreement and not seeing the property. So i asked to see it. No response. He called me and said "Okay brother you can get ready to move in." I said i would like to see the property and he asked, " When can you pay the down payment?" I said I said I dont have the money yet? That is why I am not moving in until mid February." He said oh okay but was pressuring me to pay as soon as possible, again without seeing the property and without signing the agreement. A few days go by. The weekend of 1/28 - 1/29 and i was not feeling right about the situation so I decided not to go further. Now on Wednesday the first of February 2023, he is harrassing me further about rent even though i would move in for another two weeks, had I signed any lease agreement. He then posted on the portal for his "website", which seems like a scam as well, that I owe rent. I do not want this to hurt my credit somehow for not even signing a lease agreement and him saying i did not pay rent. No matter what though, this is a scam and i would not trust this guy. It says his company is out of Florida, but he operates in Nebraska but cant show the property.

PERSON (**** ******) CONTACTED ME AFTER I EMAILED INQUIRING ABOUT RENTAL ON CRAIGSLIST. SUBLEASE FORM IS PHONY AND PLENTY OF SPELLING AND GRAMMER ERRORS.

I found a home for rent online for $1200.00 a month located in Collinsville Illinois. The owner claimed he was military and located out of state. I later learned that he is not the owner of this property, he had stolen the information from an online real estate site that had this home listed for sale. I did not provide any personal or financial information to him.

He take my social security and all my money im in street he was doing a house rent

I saw an ad on southeasttexas.com about a house at 1102 Sun Ave. in Port Neches Texas for rent I emailed the owner and after two days of speaking with him and viewing the house on the outside I see the same house on Zillow for rent with another name demand Benjamin sent me a lease as well as wanting $2100 to move in promising the keys after I sign the lease and give the deposit after speaking to the real estate agent I found out that this was a scam and no one named Benjamin owns the house

After being approved by a background check, individuals are added a pool of "potential" applicants for an individual property and have no guarantee of actually being approved for the property. They continue this for each property for months before selecting a single individual to be approved. They are attempting to profit off of application fees under the guise of "finding the right tenant" for the property, even though several dozens of applicants have been approved. Additionally, they fail to communicate this before the application. Not only is this morally wrong to do during a national housing crisis, this is a form of discrimination. An applicant which passes all screening criteria shouldn't have to be conditionally approved based on demographic, race, other nonsensical standards of the "ideal tenant".

This is the response to the accusations on their reviews, which is copied and pasted as a response to every complaint:

"I am sorry that you feel that way. Unfortunately, once we do the initial review, and have received multiple applications, the owner will also review those applications and make a final decision. We inform applicants that were not accepted by the owner, to look for another property as their application is active for a 90 day period. This is the same information we gave to you during our phone conversation. If you do look and see another property, we would be happy to submit your application for final approval."
