We sent all the requirements to him via mail which included references and credit reports that he had requested.
On Sunday 22nd September he sent me a text requesting i do an interac transfer of 1950 dollars to [email protected] and then i could go sign the lease on 28 September 2024.
I told him its not normal to pay anything before signing the lease, and when he insisted i asked him to give me time to consult my previous landlord at which point he immediately responded that he wont be renting out to me anymore.
I don't believe he is the owner of the said house or property manager but rather he has rented the house and he is trying to scam people looking to rent. i wouldn't want anyone to fall to his scam.
