I went online to get Charles Schwab's phone number and we got this false phone number 1-888-745-7669. It does look like an actual Charles Schwab site. The very first thing the fake rep asked was for our social security number. We needed technical support. The fake rep tried to get our information. My husband called the number off the real site and we got the information we needed from them. The fake rep wanted the customer service number to your real bank account. I was threatened that the FBI was coming to arrest me and they were going to take $7900.00 out of our account for child porn hub. He said in 12 hours from 4:45 am this morning. They said that we okayed it from our phone and one of our social security numbers was compromised. He kept saying our social security number was compromised. The fake rep was insisting that the money was coming out and that we were going to be arrested and that all our accounts would be hacked. The website looked legit. So we contacted the BBB.
