I contacted this number thinking it was the student loan center for my loans. When contacting them they got me to provide them with my social security number my address and my date of birth as well as my name. They call me that I would qualify for a student loan forgiveness program but in order to do so I had to pay an initial charge of $199 of a processing fee. And that once this fee would be paid they would send me information from the Department of Education with my new program. I told them I would not pay a fee until I received the paperwork in mail. They then got hostile and hung up. I recalled and a female answered which gave me the name Rose with an employee number of 806, and assured me that this was not a scam and that it was fully legit. I then contacted my actual student loan officers who contacted the number and clearly that number gave her a different company name and my actual account officer said we have no idea who that company is. This is a company that scams you into setting up a payment process for them to consolidate your debt loan while fronting as the loan company themselves.
