They harass you with non-stop calling, all hours of the day and night. The callers use auto-changing VOIP numbers so, no matter if you block each number, they just keep changing the number they use and keep calling you.
In many cases, ONVOY is allowing hijacking of real numbers belonging to others in effort to deceive people into answering what they may believe is a legitimate local caller.
Now, I am also receiving the same type of calls with "Private" or "Restricted" ID's (with no available number) that call twice during a day, about five hours apart. These privacy type calls cannot be blocked or traced. My cell provider confirmed these calls are also from ONVOY.
If you answer these calls, the caller tries to pressure or convince you that you owe money or is trying to extract information.
My carrier warned these scammers can conceivably retrieve information from your phone if you answer and to NEVER answer unknown calls but allow them to go to your voicemail. Legitimate callers will leave a message.
The National No Call Registry is USLESS to help... I've been registered since 2009.
We need and deserve laws that actually protect us and are used to hold these scammers and thieves acountable! It is disgusting that government and states condone companies like ONVOY in harassing us to no end, interfere in our lives, deceive and steal from vulnerable people and waste our valuable time when anyone else doing what they are doing would be prosecuted severely!! ONVOY needs to face a huge class-action lawsuit!
