First of all, the location was impossible to find. When the address of the company was taken from the website and placed on the GPS on the mobile device, it took us to a NYC yard with emergency vehicles such as ambulances and FDNY trucks. We called the customer service number for assistance of how to get to the pier. When I spoke to the Customer Service Representative on how to get to the pier, she stated “I don’t know, I have never been there before.” She then took my phone number sent me a picture of the location that was taken from GOOGLE MAPS. The picture showed an imagine of a box truck on the street during daylight hours. This imagine was totally different due to the hour of the day. Unfortunately, by that time it was too late and we missed the ship. We called back to request a refund. The representative stated that the company does not provide a refund. It was offered to us that we could reschedule a dinner for another date. However, we would have to pay an additional $225.64 for a rescheduling fee on top of the $451.28 that was charged up front. In conclusion, the company tried to scammed us out $225.64 due to the incorrect information posted on their website.

A couple of days later my boyfriend and I returned to the location to conduct an investigation. When we placed the address of the location of the website, it took us back to the same place. We continue up the road and stop at an other yard. This yard had a sign that indicated it belong to NYC department of sanitation. Also, in the front was a poorly hand written sign stating that pier 36 ( location of Liberty Cruise) was at the end of the block. This sign, couldn’t be seen by car driving down the road due it’s sized and poor lighting.
