Type of a scam Phishing
On Wednesday, November 13 2024, Next House Copenhagen, part of Arp-Hansen Hotel Group ("Arp-Hansen" or "we"), became aware that several guests had received phishing messages attempting to steal credit card information. Arp-Hansen immediately acted to contain the incident and initiated an investigation with the assistance of external experts. Unfortunately, further investigations have shown that malicious third parties gained access to guests' reservation information and used this information to send out phishing messages. So far, according to Arp-Hansen's information, the data has only been used for targeted phishing attacks against some guests, but we cannot rule out that other guests may also experience phishing attempts.
What information is involved?
The personal data that malicious third parties have accessed and extracted includes name, phone number, email address, address, nationality, reservation price, room number and type, arrival and departure date, contact preference, travel agency, and information about the payment card type, card expiration date, and the last four digits of the card number, ID number, type of ID and when the ID expires. It is important to emphasize that your account information has not been accessed.
