I logged in to my online banking website and noticed a pending transaction for $735.98. I researched it to make sure it was indeed an invalid charge. I did a search online and the number associated with this transaction on my bank site is the same number that is associated with the fraudulent complaints filed online.

hotel reservation website, does not work

I clicked on a particular hotel to make a reservation directly through their own website. However, I was redirected without knowing it to a 3rd party website which was www.reservationstays.com which looked like the hotel website. I made what I thought was a reservation for 2 nights. But when I got the email confirmation I saw that I was charged almost $1,000 so I was immediately concerned and located the ACTUAL hotel and they said that there is no reservation under my name/email and booking number which doesn’t even line up with the format that they use. So not only do I not have a hotel reservation but they stole my $947.95 without the ability to cancel or change the reservation because you can’t get through to them at the phone number they gave. When I finally did get someone on the phone they gave me some bs story about how I could “apply for a refund” which I did. But never got my money back. They flat out stole my credit card information and charged $947.95. I called my credit card company to beg them to stop the transaction but they couldn’t do anything because they said I was the one who made the reservation. I knew then that I’d never see that money again. It’s just so sad how many people have lost money from these thief’s and no one can stop them.
