I searched for United Airlines on Google to confirm my reservation cancellation had gone through. They were the first website to come up. I called them and they asked me for information. They told me it would be $200 to refund my ticket. I gave them my credit card information and then I was thinking about it, and it sounded like a scam. I looked up their phone number and email address and nothing popped up related to United Airlines. I called United airlines while I had the scammers on hold. United Airlines said they were not associated with that website. I canceled my credit card, froze it and ordered a new one before they could charge it.
