When I first answered, it was an automated message offering a discounted vacation, and to push 1 if I was interested. When I pushed 1, a woman got on the phone to talk to me. They offered an all-inclusive resort stay for 5 days, and a 7 day cruise all for $1,199. They claimed to be with Wyndham resorts and said they work with Hilton and Marriott as well. Originally a woman spoke with me, she had a very strong accent, and told me about the deal, then a man, her “manager” instantly got on the phone when they thought I was interested. They were very pushy to get me to buy, kept going down on the price, until it got to $899, with only $400 down payment. When I questioned why there wasn’t any information about them on the internet aside from their website, he claimed they were new, which he had earlier stated they had been around for 10 years. He became irritated when I mentioned I had found people talking about being scammed by them on Google, and kept coaxing me to purchase the vacation package. When I said I don’t think I’m interested, he just hung up. They wouldn’t tell where they were located, just that they do business with several vacation resorts. They also made it to where the number that showed up on my phone was a local number, with the same area code as me.
