Scammer contacted me with a buyer for my timeshare. I had put it up for sale. I had to pay $1,600 for all of the transfer, title and other fees with all closing to be paid by buyer. At the time of closing, they wanted $2,200 more for closing fees. I knew then it had to be a scam though I researched initially and couldn't find any derogatory infor. Then family member got a hit on the phone number in Chinese language. My Google search didn't show it. They sent me link and my cell converted to English and showed phone number was from Taiyuan, Shanxi in China. I contacted my timeshare and also confirmed they had not been contacted and I knew for sure it was all a scam.
