call ask for me by name and address. say I owe a debt. Ask for birthdate and ss# to verify it is me due to privacy regs. call everyday

This number keeps calling and has made calls to my family and friends claiming they are suing and asking if I have an attorney. Never really contacted me directly until I called to ascertain whether or not this is a legal and valid place of business. Now that they have my number they call all the time. She has broken laws that are structured to protect us as consumers by threatening and intimidating me. I have contacted the hospital I was in on that date of service and I have no balance due with them. I have asked Dawn Weaver from the Revenue Group to identify the original biller and she called me names, insulted me and was all out rude. She was playing my husband and I against each other telling him mistruths until we were on a three way call together. When my husband asked her to do the same, send a bill stating the original biller, she said its in the mail and two weeks later we haven't received a thing. I have a cancelled check that was for over $400 paid to the hospital for this date of service and offered to email or fax it to her but she would not produce a fax number nor an email address. She claims she has a boss but never will put him on the phone claims he is never available. This doesn't seem like a business and definitely doesn't embody the companies values statements and claims on the website I found granted she wasn't forthcoming with a web address so I may be looking at the wrong one.

She keeps asking for different amounts of money and wants to get her hand on a credit card number. I have read online that the company then charges a higher amount then agreed upon. I need help with this. If I owe a doctor or hospital any amount I set up payments and pay them direct. In this case it doesn't seem legitimate or I believe they'd do the same.
