Caller said he was from RGE (versus RG&E). He said my residence was scheduled for disconnect and that I needed to call a number he was trying to give me. I did not give him the opportunity to collect any funds from me. I told him he was lying because I automatically pay my bill faithfully every month and hung up on. I then called RG&E and confirmed my payments were up to date.
