We paid for a puppy via zelle and also were told it would be shipped through alpha shipping services. We never received the puppy and we lost $985. She stopped responding to calls and texts.

We were unable to get our money back. I did file fraud with my bank, Chase, and they are investigating the issue. I wound up reporting identity theft as well, because their "shipper" kept sending me texts with my name on checks. They wanted me to cash checks and send them the money. I read on another site that they may have been operating before as Karen's Pugs Home, and had used stolen credit cards. Just unreal and such a shame.

To add to this scammer. I used a secondary email address to inquire on any female pug puppies that they may have available, and they tried selling me the same puppy again. The puppy that they are using is named Ariane. I was told by Shawn that Ariane was the only puppy that they had left.

I found the website by looking for a pug puppy for sale. I found Rhonda's Pugs Home and contacted them on March 27th regarding a pug that was on their website. Rhonda responded on the 28th saying that the puppy was available, and Shawn Setty sent me an email with all the information. In the email it stated the puppy was $850 and that shipping was included. On Monday, March 29th I let her know that we were interested in purchasing the puppy. The puppy was in Miami and we are in Detroit. On the afternoon of March 29th I sent $850 via Zelle, and later in the day Rhonda sent me tracking information. The puppy was supposed to be shipped on Tuesday, March 30th. The shipping agency was Alpha Shipping Services. On Tuesday, March 30th I received a call from Joseph from the shipping agency saying I need to rent a specialized travel crate at $3000. I said no. Then he called again saying that I need to pay for AKC registration and insurance. I tried contacting Shawn and Rhonda about the shipping agency claiming they needed money in order to ship the puppy. They claimed that they were in Atlanta with the puppy. The puppy was supposed to travel from Miami to Detroit. So, I wasn't sure why they were in Atlanta and just now contacting me for more money when the puppy was supposedly in transit. I again told them that I was not going to pay anymore money and that they would have to contact Shawn Setty. I tried to email, text and call Rhonda and Shawn, but they have yet to respond.
