Consumer called ScamPulse.com of MN and ND public info line 8/29 asking about this business. Said had found a $49K John Deere tractor on Facebook Marketplace and began communicating with the "seller" about purchase and payment. Before moving forward, called ScamPulse.com to check on business. ScamPulse.com rep was able to determine that there was formerly a business by this name at the address listed, but this website had just been registered about a week ago (through a domain registration service in the Czech Republic), and was likely an 'imposter' of the former business. Advised caller not to move forward with transaction. ScamPulse.com rep subsequently called the City Clerk's office in Badger, MN, who confirmed that there *was* a business by this name in town previously, but it closed about a year ago.
