It was for a personal installment loan for 12.5 I put up 1000 and then another 1000 and then finally 1500 before I was broke they said it was to secure the loan they just kept goin up and uo and uo they said that was the last amount until they got more them moved it right up it was right before Xmas too just [censored]ed us

I was actively contacting different financial institutions so I could borrow collateral for my newly registered corporation and they turned me down because I didn't have any collateral.

One day I came across a Facebook add of an institution called "Ridge Ville Financial ", which was located in Halifax NS; they have a legitimate looking website so I filled my contact information and they contacted me a couple hours later.

They told me to send over my address, two pieces of Photo ID, and a void cheque so they could get the ball rolling if I am approved.

They contacted me some minutes later said they found a private lender that would be willing to loan my corporation $150,000, and he just wants a guarantee that he can get is money back if I was to become unable to pay the monthly.

So they asked me if I owned a house I told them no, then their agent who said his name is "Headman" said there's another option for purchasing a new insurance policy and the price is $6500.

I didnt have that much so I told him Nd he asked if I could come up with at least half of the money and they could deduct the residual from the loan; I said I could withdraw it from credit cards.

He told me to e-transfer the money and I did via two transactions with a Twenty-four hour space out becmy interac limit is $2000 per twenty-four hours.

After he got both payments; he said I would receive the money in 40 minutes and I never received it. I tried calling him on numerous occasions and he no longer answers the phone.

I was scammed by Ridgevillefinancial out of 1988$ and they tried for more and has multiple other emails & phone numbers they told me I was accepted for a loan of 20.000 then proceeded to tell me I needed a one time security deposit of 988$ for partial loan coverage which I paid , then asked for an additional 1000$ to have my loan 100% coverd because particial coverage wasn’t enough, then they proceeded to as me for an additional 700$ then 630$ then 400$ then 200$ and I refused after I was already in loss of 1988$ and after I refused to pay the additional to have my “ loan” deposited they cut off all contact and no numbers would work any longer

I had applied for a loan online and someone replied saying I could get the loan if I paid a credit liability insurance. Once paid I was told the funds would be deposited. Then I was told I needed to provide an additional $1400. When I asked for my original deposit back I was told it would take 6-8 weeks. But now I'm never seeing that $986, and it was every last cent I had for me and my twin 2 year olds. I even took out a payday loan to cover that, which I now have to pay back in 2 days and can't afford.

His name is Robert but they called all time with different person told me they had my loan just had to pay 1500 for insurance which I thought was different but my credit only let me do so much so went with it promising loan be direct deposit into my account soon as paid for the insurance he calls back after and says needed an additional 2200 for insurance so I said no way I want my money back said it was going to be refunded still nothing dont fall for these scams they take it from hardworking people because their to lazy to work thereselves
