Righteous Talent in Phillipsburg, NJ, is not a legitimate talent agency and are posing as so. As an inexperienced model, I came across their website and applied for representation. They accepted immediately, without meeting with me in person or via video conference. They emailed me a contract: standard for the most part, however, one stipulation was that the model was required to pay a $154 service fee in order to open up more opportunities. Being new to the industry and not knowing that agencies are not supposed to charge for any services (instead they are supposed to make a percentage of the earnings you make from a job they booked you), I signed the contract and paid the fee. After being with them for three months, they still have not gotten me any work. After doing research I learned that legitimate agencies will always meet with you in person; furthermore, they would never charge you any type of fees. I am still trying to end my contract with them, however, they are making it extremely difficult. Please, beginner models and actors, do not make the same mistake that I did.

We are licensed and bonded in multiple states and are well-known in the entertainment industry. We have been in this industry for over a decade. Our agency has great relationships with many reputable Casting Directors, networks and agencies. Every part of our client contractions are broken down to specifically show where the technology/profile fees go.

In fact, after looking into our database, it appears we have never had a person from the zip code of 08028 apply to our agency.

We request you remove this dishonest, incorrect review removed from the site as the information is simply not accurate. Please contact the agency directly with any further questions or concerns.
