They sent in mail talking bout $400 collection I don't even use there services they keep calling my phone talking bout I owe them money when I never even use there services these knuckleheads are hotdang scammers! I even contact T-Mobile in ring plant don't even work with them idk why these knuckleheads are doing this junk but it's not funny I don't recommend this company there nothing but frauds!

We received a call telling us that they were a representative of Verizon and claimed that there were going to be changes to our billing that they needed to explain. They then proceeded to have a technician call our office that went on and on with details about changes that needed to transpire. When my staff member alerted them that she is not authorized to make those changes she was chastised by the tech stating that next time someone calls make sure she tells them that so that she doesn't waste their time. AN UNAPPRECIATED COLD CALL TO GET OUR BUSINESS

I was told that Ring Planet was a subsidiary of AT&T and that they were upgrading their equipment. They assured me that my bill would be less than the $30.00 dollars I was paying every month and that nothing would change. AT&T denied any affiliation to this company. 2 months after I received Ring Planets equipment, my phone was disconnected because they were trying to charge me over $200.00 dollars. When I called Ring Planets customer service I was treated very rudely and they told me that my billing would be coming from T-Mobile, so I contacted T-Mobile and they denied having any affiliation with the company. T-Mobile doesn’t off lifeline service and they told me that the company is bogus and that they prey on older Americans. I’ve had the same phone number for over 30 years. I have a 94 year old mother with dementia and teaching her to memorize a new number isn’t an option. Should an emergency arise, I wouldn’t get to her in time because Ring Planet disconnected my service. It’s appalling to say the least. I was told by AT&T that I will have to get Ring Planet release my phone number in order for them to reinstate my lifeline. These types of fraudulent companies need to be stopped!

My parents received a package containing a small device from Ring Planet. When they called the company there were told that the AT&T landline they had would be disconnected as part of a copper line retirement program.

They were told that if they did not sign up for the Ring Planet service immediately, their service would be discontinued and they would lose their phone number.

None of this turned out to be true. According to AT&T, they have no current plans to retire the copper line service in the area of Florida where my parents live.

Ring Planet is not affiliated with AT&T in any way.

THIS IS A SCAM! It prays on older Americans.
