Rios Global Reports & Reviews (3)

I received a suspicious text message inviting me to interview with this company - I had never heard of or applied for. They combed through Indeed and other employment sites to gather as many candidates as possible to invite them to a Zoom interview. I received a series of text messages confirming the interview only to log on and find it was a cattle call with the presenter rambling from a bad script for 5 + minutes and never saying a thing about the company. An elementary description of marketing-related services the company claims to service. Very misleading and a complete waste of time for anyone with a once of marketing knowledge or experience let alone self respect.

I applied to a warehouse job and sat through their zoom "1st round interview," with 25 other participants. I was under the impression that we'd be conducting a legitimate virtual interview but thought it was suspicious when about 30 minutes before the meeting I was informed that no cameras would be necessary. The participants were muted and the host said that there would be time to ask questions and then gave no such opportunity. The host wasted out time for fifteen minutes talking about nothing but ensuring us that we were specifically selected because of our qualifications and that only a few would be hired for a job that he didn't bother to explain. The warehouse job does not exist and I received no answers to my questions.

The Organization calles Rios Global is likely, though I stand to be corrected, but very likely defrauding job-seeking people through phishing. For those who may not know, "phishing" is a form of fraud in which a message sender attempts to trick the recipient into divulging important personal information like a password or bank account number, transferring money or installing malicious software. Usually, the sender pretends to be a representative of a legitimate organization.

So apparently Rios had a job listing on Indeed as of August 5, 2022, when I applied. I received a generic response acknowledging receipt from [email protected] thereafter after. Some Mackenzie O. - (obviously with no full-last name) emailed and texted me inviting me to interviews scheduled on August 8,2022. Something was quite suspicious about her emails and her long texts were too invasive. 15 participants, plus the host Ben. We all sat through his introductory pitch on Zoom but I came suspicious because nothing made sense. I took a screenshot of the Ben guy who is a recruitment person and it's attached herein. I then sent an email formerly asking to see company credentials open to public knowledge as a safety measure, but nobody replied. That's when I saw red flags. I then withdrew from the engagement and totally rubbished their proposal for another interview scheduled August 10, 2022. Unfortunately, they already have my resume, name, physical address, phone number and email address. I NEED the authorities to help me and shut this enterprise down. Their address is not defined, and their social media is very artificial. I strongly suspect that these people are not who or what they say they are. Kindly investigate their operations and hold them accountable for scamming innocent citizens. They deserve to be scrutinized and challenged should they be malpracticing. DO NOT fall for scams good people.
