Received a pop up on my MACBook Pro stating that my computer had detected a virus. Then the warning message popped up and recommended to contact so I did the online chat with a representative (whom I thought was with Apple, because the site looked just like Apple Support.) I was asked to describe my problem. The reply was to give my name & contact number and a technician would contact me shortly for help. Less than 1 minute later, I got a phone call from MAX GREEN, whom I thought he was Apple Technician. He said he needed remote access to my laptop to see what type of damage has been done. A link (LOGMEINERESUE.com) sent to me through the online chat forum. Scammer moved around on the screen looking as if he is trying to figure out what has happened. Scammer points out some random files saying these are malware. Scammer said that my laptop needed to be fixed and cleaned and will run at top performance afterward. Scammer stated that he needed to transfer me to a different dept who would fix my iMac and laptop for a fee of $199 for one computer for 3 months or $250 for two computers for three months and would take about 40-60 mins to complete. I selected two computers (PC) for three months. I asked if one tech will work on both computers. He said two techs wouuld work my two computers separately. I asked for their names - MAX gave me the first names - Andy and Jacob (probably fake names). I doubt that two techs did. Only one tech worked back and forth between two computers because I watched him move around on the screen for about 45 minutes. The scammer uses the TEXT WRITER asking for NAME; ADDRESS; PHONE NUMBER, etc. I got a transaction receipt. I was asked to fill out the form online via RisezoneSolutions LLC Proof of Services Shared. They charged me $250. Later I found out that this was a scammer. Arnold kept on trying to contct me after he disconnected me by mistake. I refused to answer because I found out they were scammers. I quickly contacted my credit card company and explained what happened. The credit card company put this company - RiseZon on the alert-watch list. They would block them from charging me.
