We were approached in person at our home with an offer to purchase a walnut tree on our property. This company offered to remove the tree and sell it and give us 50% of the profits. They estimate around $2000 for our tree, meaning we would get $1000. We have a signed contract. They also offered to cut up a large downed tree that was in our yard and assured us that they would remove any debris they caused. The tree was cut down with damage to our lawn and piles of debris left. Called all 3 phone numbers and left numerous messages. Finally spoke to someone who then told us we would be getting a check for $800 for our tree. He said he would check with "his guys" about cleaning up the debris. This last contact was in March 2018 with a promise that the check would be mailed the first week of April 2018. It is now almost August 2018 and we have had no payment and no additional contact with this business. I do not want other people to be swindled! Even though we have a signed contract, we cannot get in contact with anyone for our money.
