2020-04-26 through 2020-05-13 I filed 2 disputes with PayPal and they both were denied because they had been provided a UPS tracking number from the seller. I escalated this to the UPS Fraud Department who explained that the instances of fraud have increased because there was a higher volume of Internet sales due to Covid-19. I filed a complaint with UPS and on 2020-05-19 they determined that the tracking number provided by the seller was not related to me or the package that I was expecting. Once I provided that document to PayPal they reopened my case and decided in my favor. They refunded my credit card 2020-05-22.
I have also, filed complaints with Rite-Aid Corporation to alert them that this scammer is using their name, with the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center, and here with the BBB. My next steps will be alerting the Florida Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission. All I want is for someone to shut down the website so no one else gets hurt.
