expensive due to their rarity and not too many breeders of this kind are out in the
market, They generaly cost $1500-$5000 so when I came across this breeders ad on
Google selling Brussels Griffon dogs for $600, I jumped at the opportunity.I contacted "Riverbrusselsgriffon" on April25,
2023 to inquire about 2 of the females they'd advertised as available on their website. I
got a coherent and what seemed like a genuine response from the owner, Michael on April 27th. He told me they were located in O'Neal, Nebraska and they were "home breeders". He stated that the puppy was $600 and shipping, with a "professional pet
shipping service" would cost an extra $200. He first wanted to know a litle about my experience with puppies and where the puppy would be calling it's new home. For 6 days we went back and forth exchanging emails of mostly me asking the usual questions and getting short responses along with Michaels' demand for full payment and the signing of their sales contract before the puppy would be shipped to me. His emails became nonpunctuated/run on sentences and when he wouldn't answer my questions (common questions for the puppy purchasers to ask the breeder to get a better assessment of compatibility)we both halted communications with each other
Thus, I began digging aka researching a bit deeper.
The original web address was no longer working and I was lucky to find another one of their puppy ads on Google showing the same puppies I'd seen but their website address was different.
(RoyalBrusselsGriffon.us). On this website they claimed that the pet shipping service they use is "PetSafe" at Continental Airlines
and that's when I knew my suspicions were
proven.Continental Airlines is actually United Airlines and they discontinued their PetSafe shipping program back in 2019. l emailed Michael my list of common but essential
questions on May 3rd and never heard from him again.I'm glad I never sent him money
but it's sad that other people may have
