On March 21, 2024, I began seeking work-from-home, part-time employment. I started receiving a series of text messages, with Mr. Jacob Harrison being one of the messages that contacted me from Rivus Pharmaceuticals with an interest in my resume. The texting switched to Microsoft Teams. Mr. Harrison and I messaged back and forth for a few days, which turned into him expressing that I was a good candidate for the Call Center Customer Service Representative position I was seeking. Mr. Harrison sent me a check for supplies for the position. I did not deposit the monies. This scheme has been stalking me for over 8 weeks now. I was able to have the check mailed to me so I could report these scammers for attempting to financially **** ***
