Contacted me on a cloned Facebook messenger of a friend to apply for a grant.

My grandmother was contacted by them on her facebook page when they hacked into a friend's facebook page pretending to be them. He was pretending to be the other friend on facebook saying that he was sent $100,000 in cash through a government grant. I looked up his name as soon as I saw this and saw a post on someone else's facebook page talking about how this was a scam, so I started asking wuestions about it. He kept trying to say it was legit and there was no wrong doing. So I, being the person I am, started messaging this person through my grandmothers account saying I didn't believe that this was true and that no government program would ever send cash by UPS. So after this he kept pushing me to text this man. I got a burner number app off the app store so that they didn't have my number and they kept sending out the same message multiple times. They wanted personal informantion, which I am glad to say I made sure they got none. But these people need to be caught, they are trying to take advantage of the elderly because they know that they are not as good with technology.
