[email protected] Reports & Reviews (1)

- Fort Worth, TX, USA • Feb 05, 2025

I am reporting a fraudulent job scam that is impersonating CompuCom, a legitimate company. I received a job offer via email from [email protected] and [email protected], which I later confirmed is not associated with the real CompuCom. The scammers requested my personal information and attempted to send me a check for purchasing home office equipment, which is a common fake check scam.

Details of the Scam:

Company Name Used: CompuCom

Scammer’s Email Address:

[email protected]

[email protected]

Job Title Offered: Project Manager (Remote)

Alleged Salary: $70/hour ($65/hour during training)

Suspicious Elements:

Offer letter required sending a copy of my ID.

They claimed they would send me a check for purchasing work equipment instead of directly providing equipment.

No legitimate job interview took place.

Email domain (@compucomcareers.com) is different from the real company's domain.

Request for personal details (name, address, phone number) before verifying employment legitimacy.

Steps I Have Taken:

I have not deposited or used any checks they sent.

I did not purchase any equipment.

I want to report this to ensure others do not fall victim to this scam.

I am submitting this complaint to help prevent further fraudulent activity. Please let me know if you need any additional details or documents.
