He sent requested pictures of the dog I wanted to purchase and explained the process in very limited detail. Again difficult to understand on the phone. Garbled voice, English was second language from what I could tell from his speech and texting.
I requested to see the dog via FaceTime, zoom or Skype but he claimed to not be able to access these services.
The back and forth process took all day long.
Hours and hours of , as I look back on the process, an extremely shady operation.
He gave me his name as Robert Leslie at 2649 manassas way, Colorado Springs, Colorado. After hours of nothing, he sent me a certificate that looked to be authentic to sign and return for transfer of ownership, I did as asked. He then stated he was bringing puppy to shipping facility and that she would be on my doorstep by morning. Someone would hand deliver her to me. I sent him 400 dollars thru PayPal and waited, the transaction went through PayPal via flutterwave. He then sent me confirmation of dog at shipping facility. Below I will add in all photos of “receipts” he sent me so you may see for yourself. I should add that the dog adoption fee was stated as 800 dollars and 150 for shipping.
He then asked that I send the 550 dollars through Zelle or Venmo. I could not do either of these and he said send it to PayPal at the link he sent me. He was adament I send it though Zelle or Venmo at first but then realized it wasn’t going to happen. The name he wanted me to send it to through Venmo was a person by the name of Mitch McNeill , who he claimed was a cousin loving with him. At this point , I have sent 950 dollars as agreed upon for adoption of bullmastiff puppy named Heidi.
I then received a call from the so called shipping company from a. Man who did announce who he was or where he was calling from but was confirming address for shipping. I had to ask who it was. I confirmed address. I then get an email that the dog is on hold and that I need to pay the shipping company 840 dollars to put the dog in a safer crate for shipping and then I’d receive the money back when the dog was delivered to me. After all this craziness, all day long, I had enough. I knew this wasn’t right and texted Robert that he needed to fix the shipping issue as stated in his website. He said “you just go ahead and pay it, I trust them.”
I said no and requested a full refund of the 950 dollars. I was very rude and would not refund the money. The dog never arrived.
Above are the facts of the situation.
I have to add the obvious things I noticed throughout the transaction to be inappropriate.
-attitude of seller
-speech and vocabulary of seller
- not answering questions related to dog
- unable to show dog in action in
real time
- phone conversations very inaudible, unable to understand seller, noisy, loud connections
- shipping company unprofessional
- shipping company phone contact now out of order
- supposedly reputable breeder has no footprint on internet., all numbers and names scanned through checks and nothing comes up
-akc foundation has not heard of this Breeder or his dogs
-money not refunded, dog never arrived
-scam scam scam
Please do not be fooled by this website or this person. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Below you will see a photo of the dog on this website that does not exist.
Y'all should stop giving the wrong impression about good people to the public.
Roberts Leslie never asked me to send money through any of the means you stated.
He requested payment in cash or any means suitable for you.
He told me about you in particular Tiffany Marialke you are the one who put up this fake review about him. You don't expect to send to a breeder then go behind his back to file a charge back and still expect him to ship you the puppy.
If you are not a scam yourself why will you pay for a puppy then go ahead to file a charge back with your bank and still expect to receive the shipment. That is so evil of you Tiffany Marialke so you better take this lies of yours off the internet or I will make sure you pay for what you are doing.
This is evil and you deserve to be punished.
Let me tell you this, I am an attorney and I will personally see into this particular issue if you don't take this nonsense off the internet.
You know very well what you are doing is evil.
You pay for a puppy, file a charge back to get back your money and still expect the breeder to give you a puppy and when she refuse to give you the puppy, you decide to tarnish his image on the internet.
I hope you know the implications of what you are doing because Robert already handed all your information to me when I went to his house to pick up my puppy.
So you have just limited time to take this off the internet or face the consequences or face the law.
