I was signing up for a work from home job with Robertson Group LTD, I gave them my personal information including my SSN. We only ever spoke through Teams. They sent me a $6000 check for supplies but my bank called me and told me the checks was fraudulent. The bank name used on the check was Androscoggin Savings. The bank was called and the were the ones that said the checks were stolen. I checked and Robertson Group LTD is a legitimate business but someone must be using their name for a scam on Indeed.
