Mr. Zephsniah Robinson and I verbally spoke by phone on 9-11-2024 about him replacing the underpin on a double wide trailer at my home in *** **** South Carolina. Mr. Zephsniah Robinson of Robinsons Repairs informed me that he could do the job and that he would need a deposit of $ 500.00 to start the job. On 9-12-2024 I sent Mr. Zephsniah Robinson the down payment of $ 500.00 as requested by him. Mr. Zephsniah sent me the contract dated 9-20-2024 in the amount of $ 2,781.00 and he stated that he would put my deposit toward that payment and wave the taxes on the contract in the amount of $ 206.00 and that my contract balance would be $ 2,075.00. On 9-14-2024. Mr. Robinson cleaned up the under the trailer and he informed me that he would need an additional $ 30.00 for materials to replace an area under the house that needed to be insulated before he started the underpin work and that he would charge $ 20.00 for labor. On 9-14-2024 Mr. Robinson informed me that he needed $ 850.00 to buy the materials for the job and that he had a company to hold the materials to make sure he had enough to complete the job. I sent Mr. Zephsniah $ 850.00 for the materials on 9-25-2024. I texted Mr. Robinson on 10-16-2024 because I did not hear from him. Mr. Robinson texted me back on 10-16-2024, stating he ordered the materials from a warehouse in Florida and they were damaged by the hurricane flood and that the warehouse was closed and he couldn't get the materials due to that fact and that the warehouse would have to give him a refund which he stated it would take up to 30 or 90 days. Mr. Robinson also, stated he would refund my money immediately after he received it. I have not heard back from Mr. Robinson at all until I texted him on 1-2-2025, demanding my refund immediately. Mr. Robinson responded , did want him to take the money from his own pocket? I paid him from my own pocket !! .Mr. Robinson texted me later saying he would Western Union and let me know when he was sending it. I have not heard back from him. I sent him another text on 1-24-2025. Still no word from him.
