- April 14, 2023: I buyed shoes on a page that looked like a Rockport original. I completed the purchase process for US$512

- I received a confirmation email from [email protected] and [email protected], but not from rockport, with the following information:

Order No.: 15

Seller website: rockportshoesmexico.com

Payment Date&Time: 2023-04-15 07:26:31.0

Amount: 8712.61 MXN

Payment No.: VK2304150726313054

- Two hours later another email arrives but this time from [email protected], with the following information:

Order No.: IMD2304150726353228

Seller website: fashionshop.top (????)

Payment Date&Time: 2023-04-15 07:26:39

Amount: 511.49 USD

Payment No: N23041507263568423837819

Query Code: 168190

- Another email also arrives at the same time, supposedly from rockportshoesmexico but really from [email protected], confirming the same detailed order.

- April 17th: Another email arrives now from [email protected] now saying that my order is the payment order of 15-2304150726313054.

- April 19th: They tell me that my tracking number is ALI64985104426135 and a link to check.

- May 9th: I inform them that a 10 dollar pashmina comes with that order.

- May 10th: They apologize for the mistake and promise to resend the correct order.

- May 11th: They tell me that the items are out of stock, however I check the page and it shows existence of all. He asks me if I prefer a refund and I say yes.

- May 14th: They offer me 2 options: 1) I keep the $10 pashmina and they only return 30% of the total refund, or 2) I return the pashmina and they return 100%. Obviously I choose option 2.

- May 16th: They clarified that if I return the $10 pashmina, I must pay for shipping and it may take many days to reach them. They suggest me to accept now 35.8% of the total refund. I insist that it is a ridiculous proposal that I want a full refund.

- May 17th: They tell me that if I insist on the refund, in addition to paying the shipping, I should do the following:

1. Ensure that the returned products are in good condition without any traces of use or damage.

2. Be sure to send out the package within fifteen days after you receive it.

3. The package may be intercepted at the customs. If we can't receive it we will not provide any refund.

I tell them that with any of these arguments they will deny me a full refund.

- May 18th: They raise the refund to 40% and I decide to accept to see if I really get anything back.

- May 19th: They confirm that they have already started the refund process but that it will take 7 to 15 working days. Today is June19th (24 working days, later)

- They no longer answer and do not refund anything.
