Type of a scam Online Purchase
I purchased 6 - New Thermoclear 48 in. × 72 in. × 16mm Clear Multiwall Polvcarbonate Sheet on 1/3/23. The scammer sites only has PayPal as a payment method. The Scammer got $362.95.
On 1/4/23 I opened a dispute with PayPal about the seller. The seller never responded to my emails. I felt I was being scammed. And I was correct.
On 1/25/23 I got my money back from PayPal. After provided a letter from FedEx. Telling me the Tracking # doesn't belong to me and that isn't my address. What ever was delivered to that house that isn't mine.
Is the information PayPal needed to get my money back.
Attached is the tracking number Buttons provided to PayPal.
On 1/24/23 I filled a form out on www.ic3.gov. Letting the F.B.I. know that I was scammed. From the scammers website https://www.rockymaterials.net.
