We bought a Roku Streaming Stick from Best Buy. This is our 4th Roku stick in our household. We were installing it on our new TV. We were asked to put a code in and it didn't work. A number popped on the screen saying call this number for technical support. My husband called it. He told my husband there is a charge to setup our Roku and the fee just started on November 15th. My husband didn't believe it at first and kept questioning the guy. The " employee " then said watch I can get your roku working under guest mood and he did but he also had us change our password so he had access. He told us there is a monthly charge or you can do a lifetime for $100 and you will have your own technical support number. My husband was giving him our credit card info and I started looking up Roku and fees and found out it was a scam. My husband then told the man this was a scam and hung up. My husband then called our credit card company.
