So I also get an email by this Ron guy for a position I did apply for at Indeed.com for a remote customer service position, and the email stated that he would like to offer me the position and all I needed to do was to supply my name and address and phone number. After checking on my applications at Indeed.com, I found out that I did apply for this position so I assumed that this was a legitimate offer of employment. After sending the info, I never got a response until a day later which I found a bit peculiar. However, he later responded with an offer letter which actually convinced me that this scenario to be somewhat legit. By the way, this Ron guy states that he's a HR manager of 57 Ocean (a luxurious condo development in Miami, Fl). What I found strange is that all his emails never provided a phone number. I did find 57 Ocean's website which seems to be real, and I will contact them tomorrow to let them know that this shyster is using and tainting their business name. At least I know not to spend any money or to send any sensitive info to this guy, and I may also report him to authorities. What is troubling is that Indeed.com has not been able to filter scammers such as these, and I will contact them also. To all future employees, watch out for this [censored]!

I received an e-mail that I'd been offered a position I didn't recall applying for from a Ronald Benson of Today's Business Solutions. I asked questions and it was a few days before I received a reply, in the meantime I forgot about it. When I did get the response it left more questions so I asked more questions as it seemed odd that I couldn't locate anything to indicate I'd applied for this job when I went through my emails and checked. I was being given a "salary" of $850 a week plus I needed to order a cell phone, printer & laptop. I questioned this as I own all 3 now and was assured it was necessary for the "job" and that they had already arranged the providers of the items. I had to confirm my information, name, address & phone which I unfortunately did provide before realizing that something didn't smell right. I spammed the e-mails and forgot about it until today when I was texted that I'd been sent a check for $4,300 of which I was to keep $850 salary and $30 for "transport" services. I checked my mail box and sure enough it was there. I texted back that I'd received the check, an official check from a NH credit union, the sender of the priority mail envelope was Continuus Pharmaceuticals. I questioned this and the "recruiter" stated that this was their payroll parter. I questioned things further and the "recruiter": This all shows you were never ready for this position. Please have the payment returned back to sender. I replied that I wanted to ensure everything was on the up and up and I've not had any further replies. I looked up Today's Business Solutions and found 2 sites in 2 different states with red letter warnings on their site that there is a scam and they won't send money to purchase equipment. I will report this to the police in the morning.
