I received a voice mail from a Me. James stating my husband George Williams owed Credit One $1,847.14 and they were calling to collect. He stated a letter was sent to 255 Gravel Pit Road in Hattiesburg MS. George had lived there until 2008. It is a set of storage buildings. We didn’t get the letter. He said they sent another letter to an address in Mobile AL. He did live in Mobile but I don’t know the address. I asked him if he would send the information to our home address 782 A J Bond Road in Sumrall MS 39482. He said he couldn’t. That I could either pay the amount or it would go to court and they would serve papers on him. I stated my husband is in a nursing home. I inquired when the card was issued. He said December 2004. We married in 2008. Mr. James pressured me into paying this debt.
The case # was 202226666. The letter and other items were emailed to me and I have attached them below.

Ma’am they are total scammers I would call your credit card and file a fraudulent payment.. Get your money back.. They are trying this on my husband.. Their address doesn’t even line up and the name James and lawyer firm he is using I am contacting tomorrow to let then know he is using there name and threatening people with it.. Very illegal!
