I can’t believe I was take advantage of, told that I need to settle my debt with a creditor for 795.00 because they had not received my payment. He convinced me to pay the 795.00 as a settlement.

Don’t believe him, my next payment came right out like clock work. I will be in the look out for others. Not going to be easy to get money out of going forward. Don’t fall for this scam.

I was called and told I was being sued and that my debt could be settled for 795.00 it all sounded legit but, decided to call my debt holder and they said everything was fine and they did not send me to a collection agency. I was taken for the 795.00 it was a lie and a scam. Please don’t pay this person anything it’s a scam

Recently received a voicemail message from this debt collection. Called the number back spoke with Anthony who threatened me with a lawsuit and garnishment of wages. I Made a payment and decided to research company. I could not find anything on this company. Recent watched a show call black market that shows you how scammer can obtained your personal information. Call Anthony back for more information regarding this debt I owe. He was upset and aggressive like I owed him child support. I do not understand how he can obtain my personal information such as social security number. Who know what they are doing over there.. selling people information to the black market! Please don’t not pay these people

Anthony James threatened me, Dodd not know what debt he wast
what debt he was talking about but scared me enough to pay part of it. But it never set right with me. My wife recently passed away and he caught me at a bad time. This was a debt over 20 years ago supposedly and I had filed Bankruptcy and no where did I see or receive anything on the debt Anthony James was talking about. I added what it was for and he said he didn’t know but needed to collect the debt for $50,000.00. Scammer . I got caught up in the scam and laid $1000.00 my credit card company cancelled my card. Not legit.

Hospital bill

Back in beginning of December of 2021 I was contacted by an unknown number stating that I was being sued due to a hospital bill of $3000 and somewhat dollars back in 2016 from southwest general hospital 6 years ago I was still in high school hadn't graduated yet I was still a minor. I then called the number that they gave me a women picked up the phone and transferred me to a man named Shawn of legal office which we both know it is not a legal office but a debt collector I did make the first payment though he said if I didn't make the payment I was being sued, they had all my personal information and showed that I have income coming somehow, it is known that to my knowledge they are not suppose to threaten or harass anyone cause it is against the law, mind you I have 2 children that I have to support I will not being paying them anything for the reason they have threatened me and the hospital visit was 6 years ago and didn't really do much for me

I filed a claim against Ross Morgan and Associates through the CFPB and the company lied about my interaction with Mr. James. I urge anyone having an experience with this company and this collection agent to also file a claim against them with the CFPB as they will put a stop to it if enough voices are heard in the complaints against their collection practices.

Anthony James called me today saying I owe The Medical Center of Southeast Texas 1600 dollars and was going to draft 333 from my account for 5 months he had my social and where I worked saying they could garnish my wages on my check if I didn’t pay up

Got a call from them claiming they were Davis County courts and that I was being taken to court. I called an 866 number back where the lady only answered and said prosecutors office (no Davis County mentioned). She threw me right over to a guy who claimed to settle medical debt from Pioneer Valley Hospital. He sent me a docusign and scared the hell out of me with my information. I haven't been to that hospital since 2015 and I know my bills were paid. However they still scared me enough that I made a first payment. After I called my bank cause it didn't sit well with me. My bank said these scammers are getting a lot more sophisticated and probably latched onto an old debt somehow. So they canceled my card and I will be informing the police and Davis County, where I have never lived, but used to live in SLC now Denver. Do not let them intimidate you. Their company is phoney, Address does not tie back to this company and I had to call an 866 number which should have been my first clue.

I received a call from Manuela whom stated she was from Davis county clerks office. Gave me info and a case number. I returned the call at 866-236-6022 spoke with Anthony James and he stated I owed Davis hospital $544 and they were going to take me to court. I told him I wanted to make sure the claim was legitimate and he got mad and told me he wasn't going to argue with me over 500 dollars and hung up on me. I called back and was going to attempt to settle the debt and he wanted me to do the payment over the phone. I told him I was not comfortable with that and I wanted to mail a certified check. He told me no and refused my method of payment. I explained to him that refusing my form of payment negates the collection ability he got mad and yelled at me and hung up on me again. This is most definite a scam no attorney conducts themselves in this manner. I will be filing a police report in regards to this as he had personal information of mine and must have received it from a breech somewhere.

I was contacted by Anthony James from Ross Morgan & Associates out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA stating that I owe Glenwood Regional Medical Center an old debt. Mr James was very rude and overtalked me and did not provide any information except the supposedly amount that I owed and that he could take me to court and pursue a lawsuit against me, or i could pay at the time of the phone call for a lesser amount. I never once got served papers concerning this matter. I called the hospital myself and spoke to 3 different billing departments and I DO NOT owe this hospital any past or current balances. This man, Anthony James, will over talk you and degrade you as a person and try to pull the scare tactial on you to get money from you. Please be aware of this company and this man, he also states he is the owner of Ross Morgan & Associates.

They called from a fake sheriff office saying I was being served Court papers for debt. When I called the number back they said no one from that office called. And I had no court date.
