I applied to a job on Ziprecruiter and was contacted that they would like to conduct a interview. The interview method was thru Google Hangout and that made me suspicious. After doing the interview thru Ziprecruiter I was offered the position as a Payroll Clerk and my pay would be $32/hourly and I would be mailed a check (check attached) to purchase all the materials needed to do the job. The job I applied to was with Rosti Poland but, the name on the check is Matthews Restautant (spelling of Restaurant on check) based in New Jersey and that grew my suspicion even moreso. So, I reached out to the number found on goggle (201) 333-1258 for the Restaurant and a lady by the name of *** stated she had never heard of any company Rosti Poland. The person that supposedly hired me for the position name is Lauren Scott and she also has a photo posted on Google hangout and I doubt that's the real person photo. Please investigate and shut these people down because they are a obviously trying to prey on job seekers. I am not sure if its to gain the personal information on the job seeker or, if they are trying to prey on the company Matthews Restaurant. But, I also believe this could be a inside job and someone that's employed at PNC bank is sharing business check info with fake companies.
