My husband sent me a link to the website https://www.rothyusstore.com to buy Rothy's shoes at clearance price of $23.99/ea when normally priced between $125-$145/ea. I placed my order using PayPal for payment, after doing so the seller was listed as Joseph Henry, the category listed Auto Sales, not Rothy's, and I never received an order confirmation e-mail. I couldn't cancel the payment, so after the "purchase" was cleared, PayPal sent me an e-mail with updated "shipping" info. They gave me a fake USPS tracking number, when I looked it up on the USPS official website, the shipping info showed my order shipped on 7/12/20 and was delivered on 7/14/20 at 5:10PM, which was only a couple hours after I placed my "order". I've tried disputing the charge with PayPal and have no resolution yet, although it doesn't look promising because they consider it an authorized purchase and I won't be able to file another complaint even if I never received the items ordered. The charge is still shown as pending on the credit card and we can't dispute it until it posts. The category of the purchase shown on the credit card is Gas/Automotive. I supposedly ordered shoes! Out of curiosity I went back to the website and logged into the Account I created and clicked on the cart, they had put at least 5 pairs of shoes in "my" cart in the amount of $115. Thankfully I had already changed my passwords so they couldn't place the order. I have notified the official Rothy's website, PayPal and filed a complaint with the Inspector General of the USPS and the FTC.
