I was looking to purchase a Maltese puppy. After searching multiple websites I found one I thought was legitimate. I filled out the information form to be contacted. They asked my name email and phone number. I was then was contacted by email with the details.. I was asked to make a 500$ deposit through Zelle. I was emailed that the puppy would be shipped and was given a tracking number from the shipping company. I then received an email about the shipping container and a request for more money. That is when I suspected. I tried calling the seller and numbers we’re not working. I then called my bank to report it.
